New for 2012 - UV Reflex Colour.
It is well known that UV light penetrates beneath the water's surface and that bait fish reflect this light. Although not visible to the human eye, predators can see this reflection and hone in on the bait fish. To mimic this, these new Shallow Invader colours have an innovative material in them which reflects the UV light and helps bring the predators to the bait.

The Shallow Invader is one of the most innovative shallow crankbaits on the market today. It is a hybrid lure that combines a hard plastic crankbait head with a hand poured soft plastic tail. This knockout combination creates an incredible serpentine action that drives large predators crazy. The tail is replaceable so if it gets chewed up the rest of the lure is not wasted.

The Shallow Invader is 9" (22cm) long and weighs about 2oz (57g). It has two extra strong size 3/0 wide gape treble hooks for secure hook ups, runs at between 2 and 4 feet (0.6 and 1.2m) and is a lethal twitch bait.

Use the Shallow Invader in all shallow crankbait and twitchbait situations. Cast or troll on shallow flats, rocky points, mid lake reefs and over the top of weedbeds. A good technique is to pause several times in mid retrieve as this imitates an injured bait fish often drawing strikes from even fickle pike. Because the lure floats when stopped, it is very effective in the weeds.

While Deep Invaders are marketed as 2oz lures, we have accurately weighed several of these lures and the actual weight has averaged at 3.3oz (95g).
