The Deep Invader is one of the most innovative crankbaits on the market today. It is a hybrid lure that combines a hard plastic deep diving crankbait head with a hand poured soft plastic action body and tail. This knockout combination creates an incredible serpentine action that drives large predators wild.

The Deep Invader is 10" (25cm) long, weighs 2.5oz (70g) and is a superb cranking or trolling lure for when you want to get your bait down deep.

The Invader dives to about 10 to 12 feet (3.0 to 3.6m) on the cast and 15 to 25 feet (4.5 to 7.6m) or more when trolled.

The lure works best when retrieved at a medium speed or trolled at about 1 to 3 miles per hour. Use the Invader in all crankbait situations. Cast or troll deep weed edges, rocky points and mid lake reefs. The Invader can be used as a countdown crankbait and is very effective on suspended fish. Another very effective technique is to pause several times in mid retrieve. Because the lure suspends when stopped, this will imitate an injured bait fish often drawing strikes from even the most fickle of pike.

While Deep Invaders are marketed as 2.5oz lures, we have accurately weighed several of these lures and the actual weight has averaged at 4.0oz (115g).
