We were really pleased to attend several events in 2010, here are details of a few of them.

Cowpie 2010 with FranglaisFishing


Franglais Fishing attended the Surrey Young Farmers Show, Cow Pie at Betchworth near Dorking in Surrey on 9th May and had a really great day. Despite the weather not being the best for an outdoor show, we had a host of visitors to our stand including representatives from local angling associations and clubs.

There was a lot of interest in our displayed range of rods and lures, particularly the Musky Innovations Bull Dawg rods and the hand made Lundberg Stalker Jerk Baits. Steve of Franglais Fishing spent most of the day swopping stories, exchanging tactics and generally enjoying himself talking fishing while Anna did most of the hard work running the stand.

The Gathering 2010

The Pike Anglers Alliance for Scotland Logo
On 15th May this year, we had a trade stand at the PAAS AGM at the King Robert Hotel in Bannockburn where despite his English accent, Steve was made to feel very welcome and part of the team. We were lucky enough to be the only trade stand at this year’s AGM so received a lot of interest and as well as being there to promote our products, Steve had a great day listening to the presentations, meeting the members and swopping Pike stories. Franglais Fishing customer Micky Jones delivered a particularly enjoyable presentation with stories of his piking exploits.

The day was a great success for both Franglais Fishing and PAAS. The ranges of Lundberg Stalkers and Musky Innovations rods were particularly well received and the centre of attention for most of the day. We have been invited back to next year’s AGM so if you missed out on seeing us there this year, please come along and support the event next year.

PAC Annual Convention

We are appearing at Piking 2010, the PAC Annual Convention at Kettering Conference Centre later this month on 25th September. We will be showing many of our popular lures and baits as well as some of our less well known items so why not come along and see us there. LAS Pike Day -- Staunton Harold Reservoir, Derby

On 3rd October 2010, we were pleased to sponsor the Lure Anglers Society Pike Day at Staunton Harold reservoir.
